Ch ch ch ch Changes ...

Hey everyone! Welcome to 2025! This year, as a continuation of my 'new direction,' I’ve started the year with some more major changes. The most notable so far is that I have downsized my studio. Although I’m still in exactly the same place as I’ve been for the last three years, someone else now occupies the area where my showroom used to be, and you can now find me tucked away in the back third of the room behind the wall.

Another big change this year is to my public studio hours. Last year, you could find me in the studio five and a half days a week, but it meant that now and again, I’d have to shut up shop so I could run errands and attend appointments. It was almost guaranteed that whenever I did this, I would get a visitor who would later tell me off for not being there. This year, I have reduced my public studio days to just three days a week. You’ll find me there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm. Although I am now in the studio less frequently than before, I am much more likely to be there when you visit, as appointments and errands have now been moved to the other days of the week.

I am still doing jewellery repair work for my longtime customers and local community – that hasn’t changed, and I will continue to offer this service for the foreseeable future.

What else has changed? Oh yeah, I’ve started making scented wax melts and soap, and I’ve even tried my hand at candles. I’ve had interest from a couple of local businesses who are interested in purchasing my soap, so that’s a promising development.
