Do You Have to Create an Account to Shop Here?
Good news, the short answer is no, you don’t! You are more than welcome to check out as a guest, but if you wish, you can create an account for an even smoother experience.
Ok, so what’s the difference?
As a guest, you go through the checkout process as usual, and that’s perfectly fine. But if you create an account, it can make your shopping a little easier next time, e.g. faster checkout, easy reordering. Plus, you won’t have to type your details in every time (because, honestly, who has the time for that?).
On my side, I don’t see any more info than I would if you completed your purchase as a guest. It’s really just for your convenience — no strings, just perks. (Though if you’re anything like me and do your online shopping over several sessions, having an account means you may end up getting my version of those abandoned cart emails.)
So, how do I create an account?
It's easy! Just click the head-and-shoulders icon at the top of your screen and follow the prompts. You'll be asked to verify your identity with a security code sent to your phone. It’s usually a one-off thing, but Shopify may ask you again if it doesn’t recognise your device (e.g. if you switch from your phone to your laptop).
At the end of the day, whether you choose to shop as a guest or create an account is entirely up to you. Both options work just fine, and I’m happy you’re here either way. So, take your pick and enjoy the shopping experience that works best for you!
