These earrings begin as flame-melted fine silver. Each tiny .999 silver ball is hand-forged into a nugget, hammered flat, and softened with heat before being stamped with the tree design.
Each piece is shaped, stamped, drilled, soldered, oxidised, and polished by hand. The shapes are organic — starting with the same amount of metal each time, but hammering two pieces to exactly the same form is near impossible. Each pair is matched for harmony, not forced to match.
Each earring measures about 5 to 6mm across and 1mm thick, with sterling silver posts and butterfly backs.
